Where our story began.
In 1985 the dream of moving to Canada from Vietnam became reality for one young, hopeful family. Relocating was no easy decision, but they were willing to work hard and take every given chance with grace and gratitude.
This new chapter meant working tirelessly at odd jobs, so when life offered up an opportunity to apprentice as Goldsmiths, the young parents jumped at the chance. This invaluable training sparked thoughts of entrepreneurship, and eventually, the doors to a humble Jewellery and Repair Store opened.
From one small store to Paris Jewellers
In 1987, our parents opened the doors to their first jewellery and repair store - a humble, 400-square-foot space built through hard work and an unwavering commitment to their customers. With a Vietnamese-to-English dictionary close by and evenings spent studying English, our mother, Thu, connected with customers through warmth, sincerity and genuine care. Language was never a barrier to the way she made people feel. She listened carefully, worked tirelessly and made it her mission to ensure every customer left happy.
That dedication became the foundation of Paris Jewellers. One small store became two, then five, and eventually grew into 23 locations across four provinces.

Today, as co-owners, we are proud to carry our family’s vision into the next generation. Alongside a team of 200 people, we continue to grow a proudly Canadian-owned and women-led company while remaining true to the heart of the business our parents began. What started as one family’s dream has become part of thousands of Canadian families’ stories. From engagements and weddings to birthdays, anniversaries and everyday moments of love, it is our privilege to help you celebrate the people and moments that mean the most.
