Fine jewellery is made from precious metals — gold, sterling silver, platinum — and set with real diamonds or genuine gemstones, rather than plated base metals and imitation stones. Everything in the Paris Jewellers fine jewellery collection is genuine, including the silver and gemstone pieces.

The number is how much pure gold is in the alloy: 10K is 41.7% gold and 14K is 58.3%. 14K has a richer colour and is slightly softer; 10K is harder and more affordable, which suits pieces worn daily. Both are solid gold, not plated. Read more about the different metals.

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush handles most cleaning. Put jewellery on after perfume, hairspray and sunscreen, take it off for swimming and cleaning products, and store pieces separately so they don’t scratch each other.
