Best customer story?
A customer a couple years ago came in around Christmas time. She was very down and out and did not have a lot. She was looking at all the things she would like, wishing she would have the money to buy her daughter a gift. I had her look around and she pointed out a few items she liked. She chose an item for her daughter that she then bought, but I could see she really wanted the second item for herself. I felt the need to just buy it for her. She came in after with a lovely card and we all cried and had a big hug.
What was the last random act of kindness you did?
I helped a lady carry her bags to the car after I saw she was having trouble.
What is your favourite piece of jewellery?
PEN-GEM-0520 is a beautiful sapphire pendent with diamonds. The colour is fantastic!
What do you like to do for fun?
I love to travel. Our favourite place is Hawaii – we have been there 6 times. We like to go south for about a month every year in January.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an airline stewardess. It was a dream and I love to travel.
Pet Peeve?
Nothing that I really dislike-but I do hate gossip.
What’s your favourite food indulgence?
I love seafood-all kinds, except for octopus and squid…calamari is like chewing rubber.
