What are you grateful for?
I am grateful for everything in my life today, including the bad things, because they make me appreciate the good things so much more.
What is your favourite customer story?
My best customer story so far was when this super sweet couple (Maureen and Bob) came in and Maureen had lost a charm that was on her bracelet for years that was really important to her. The charm was praying hands with the serenity prayer on the back. I pulled out the Rembrant Charms book and they said they had been somewhere else and it wasn’t in that book. At this point I was still learning all the Rembrant Charms we have to offer so I didn’t know we had it. I took Maureen’s number and told her I was going to try my best to find it and I would call her. Soon after they left I found it and when I called she was so so happy. Her husband Bob was so grateful and bragged to Maria (our store manager) about how happy he was. When Maureen came to pick it up she had brought me a “E” made of chocolate. I love that I had the opportunity to make someone so happy.
What was the last random act of kindness that you did?
The other day when I brought home roses for my fiancé, just because.
What is your favourite piece of jewellery?
My gorgeous engagement ring, RIN-ENG-2269, of course!!
Who inspires you?
My parents inspire me, they have been paramedics for decades. They have always been so supportive of my siblings and I and they have done some pretty impressive things in their life. They always seem to have all the answers!
What is your favourite food indulgence?
This has got to be potato chips…or pizza. Such a hard decision!
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people pronounce “milk” “melk“. This drives me crazy.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a movie star or a famous singer. I am a famous part-time singer in my car!
