Our family immigrated to Canada from Vietnam in hopes of a better future. Our mom worked tirelessly at odd jobs including as a goldsmith (while using a Vietnamese-English dictionary to communicate) which led to opening our first store in 1987. Having experienced racism while building our business, we didn’t share our origin story out of fear. In the past years, we have learned that sharing our story encourages understanding and helps educate in the fight against racism.

It is our sincere hope that through our collective efforts of sharing stories, raising funds ($20,000 so far!), we can continue to build a more inclusive world where we see each other as equals and celebrate our differences. We appreciate your continued support!
